Toaster

“Toaster” was a proposed social media service conceived of as part of a research project investigating the philosophical and sociological assumptions  inherent in the user experience design of online dating sites. Research included close readings of mobile software, interviews with prominent figures in the tech industry involved in the development of online dating service sites and anthropological research into user behaviors, experiences and perceptions.

Design concept and research paper were both co-authored with Maxwell Foxman. The paper and project visuals were delivered at Northwestern University’s 2012 InfoSocial conference.
